Radio Shack's "INTERCOM" newsletter was the international employee magazine of the Radio Shack Division, Tandy Corporation. It was distributed to RadioShack employees between 1963 - 1990s. A typical issue includes general news about employees around the world, awards, and information about new products and events. The newsletter is an important resource for understanding the history of the 52 years during which the Tandy Corporation operated RadioShack Stores and manufacturing centers around the world. According to former Radio Shack President, Charles Tandy, "The purpose of Intercom magazine is to build "team spirit" and pride in the Radio Shack family; to emphasize the importance of electronics to the economy; and to emphasize the importance of people and service in our business relations."
